Registered members of Sharparena can publish articles by submitting them using this form provided on the main site.
Notice that
- only authenticated members are able to submit articles!
- articles are not published immediately after submission, they have to be first reviewed by an editor or administrator who decides whether they can be published on the main site. Should the article be rejected or requires more editing you will be contacted.
- you can later edit an article; as a member of the authors group (default group for registered members) you can only edit your articles.
Here is an overview on how to use the submission form to publish.
Edit the article
The following image shows the upper side of the form.
Provide an appropriate title for the article that captures the topic of the article.
Use the editing area to write and format the text. For the code samples use the Preformatted format.
Provide publishing information
The following image shows the lower part of the submission form.
You must fill the following information:
- Section: select one of the following: C# articles, F# articles, J# articles, .NET articles, FAQs, Resource;
- Category: each section is divided in several categories; once you select a section the Category combo box will show the available categories; select the most appropriate for the article.
- Show on Front Page: leave the default to No; editors will decide whether it will show up on the front page or not.
- Access level: leave this to Public so that anyone can read your article.
- Description: provide a short description for the article.
- Keywords: provide a list of keywords for the article.
